Carlin Lake....home of "Carlin Water". History tells us years ago the water was so clean and pure it was bottled and sold in Chicago.
Today, it still is a very clear water lake where one can see down to depths of 25 to 30 ft.
The lake is 153 acres with
a total depth of about 40 ft. It is a private lake with no public access. Pan fish, bass, and walleye are the predominate fish.
The
Carlin Lake Lodge and Inn is located on the Lake's peninsula which has a most interesting history of its own. There are about 40 homes
on the lake with an active lake association dedicated to keeping the lake pristine.
